    About This Role:

     

    As part of the Forrester Consulting team, the Associate Consultant will play an important role to help clients advance their marketing, digital and/or customer experience strategies. The Associate Consultant will be directly involved in delivering consulting engagements and supporting consulting business development pursuits.

    Responsibilities

    • In delivering consulting engagements, typical responsibilities of this role are to:
      • Plan, collect, and analyse quantitative and qualitative data through client interviews, surveys, and/or other data sources.
      • Synthesise insights and recommendations from analyses into structured, succinct client deliverables in areas such as:
        • Business cases.
        • Maturity assessments.
        • Transformation roadmaps.
        • Operating model designs.
        • Others as required.
      • Support and/or deliver project meetings, client presentations, and workshops.
      • Support project management tasks.
    • In supporting consulting business development pursuits, typical responsibilities of this role are to:
      • Provide support to craft consulting engagement proposals to clients.
      • Prepare and/or deliver consulting pitches to clients

    Qualifications

    • University-level degree and strong academic record of achievement.
    • This is an entry-level strategy/management-consulting role; the role is flexible to encompass a new graduate or someone with one to three years of experience in an adjacent role.
    • Demonstrated strengths/experience in:
      • Issue-based problem solving.
      • Creating insights from structured or unstructured inputs.
      • Structured verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
      • Analysing multiple disparate white paper/research inputs, extracting key messages, and synthesising a point of view.
      • Ability to adapt to different environments, including a formal corporate environment, for client-related activities.
    • Broad understanding of business strategy concepts.
    • Excellent analytical capabilities.
    • Aptitude in developing high-quality client deliverables using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with others in high-pressure situations.
    • Experience working with subject matter experts with deep content knowledge.
    • Passion to develop a strategy/management consulting career.
    • The ability to travel up to 65% of time.
