    About This Role:

    As part of its continued success and growth, Forrester is looking for a new-business sales development specialist to fuel further expansion. This role is part of new-business sales and reports to the Sales Development Manager. The Sales Development Specialist works with account executives to identify opportunities within named prospects and works within a tightly defined sales process to ensure a consistent and unified approach to selling Forrester services. This is a high-volume activity environment that requires strong organizational capabilities, attention to detail, creativity, and a desire to work as part of a team.


    • Achieve set activity volumes (phone, email, social etc.) and meeting-setting metrics.
    • Support account executives who sell/maintain relationships with technology marketing professionals, analyst relations professionals, technology strategists, CMOs, CTOs, CIOs, B2B market research professionals, etc.
    • Understand the goals, objectives, and/or products of a targeted set of companies and the specific management titles and organizational structures of those companies.
    • Use all communication channels available to engage with prospect. Outline Forrester’s unique value proposition and create sufficient interest to secure an introductory meeting with a Forrester account executive.
    • Develop an understanding of our clients’ business issues and how to articulate Forrester’s value proposition.
    • Understand the changing business and technology issues facing our client and prospect base.
    • Ensure all CRM account, contact & task records are up to date at any given time.


    • S. or B.A. or equivalent experience.
    • Proven ability to initiate, establish, and nurture meaningful business relationships remotely via email and over the phone.
    • Effective organization and time management skills.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills
