About This Role:

The Account Executive will lead our new business development efforts in the emerging technology vendor markets in France and the French-speaking part of Switzerland. The Account Executive must meet quota on a monthly and quarterly basis, which will require significant prospecting efforts leading to numerous meetings. The Account Executive will have the opportunity to demonstrate Forrester's capabilities and business fit to top executives such as VPs of marketing, CIOs, managing directors, CEOs, and/or vendor strategists at startup technology vendor companies on a daily basis. Forrester has an extensive set of resources to ensure the success of this position.


  • Prospect and close appropriate new logos from the specific geography – in this case France and French-speaking parts of Switzerland. Sell primarily to senior management (director, VP, C-level, CEO).
  • Maintain the minimum weekly/daily metrics for the role and an appropriate sales pipeline of five to eight times quota.
  • Produce accurate and timely forecasts.
  • Develop a complete understanding of Forrester's full array of product offerings, with an emphasis on custom deliverables.
  • Understand the changing business and technology issues and needs that our potential clients face.
  • Work with vertical and horizontal research teams to better understand the Forrester value proposition for prospects.


  • A bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Proven experience achieving new business revenue goals and managing personal sales strategies.
  • Effective presentation, organization, and time management skills.
  • The ability and willingness to make cold calls and book meetings.
  • A team player.
  • A fast learner who is at ease with technology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
