About This Role:

The Regional HR Business Partner supports and enhances the corporate culture while providing human resources, development, and consulting services to Forrester’s employees and leaders globally. The Regional HR Business Partner, a member of the HR shared resource center, will partner effectively with the manager of HR operations and the HR line business partners to define common goals across the HR organization, drive implementation of HR processes and policies, and act as a talent steward across all functions and geographies of the organization.


  • Provide strategic and operational HR guidance to Forrester’s employees and midlevel management team on a variety of HR- and business-related items that require sound HR practices and perspectives.
  • Respond to employees’ HR-related inquiries, routed via the shared resource center.
  • Collaborate effectively with HR line business partners to advise midlevel leaders on employee relations and performance management practices.
  • Counsel employees and managers regarding work-related issues and career opportunities, such as implementing performance management initiatives and employee retention and development strategies.
  • Partner with managers around headcount choices, ensuring that positions are scoped effectively, are compensated effectively, and all internal processes are followed consistently.
  • Collaborate with other members of the HR team, including talent acquisition, compensation, learning and development, operations/information systems, and change management, as well as legal and finance teams to effectively and efficiently support employees.
  • Act as a role model for the company’s values, its culture principles, and its commitment to achieving financial and client delivery objectives. 


  • Proven HR experience in a global environment (specifically Europe and Asia Pacific).
  • Strong business acumen.
  • The ability to build a rapport with internal clients and external candidates.
  • Proven success managing employee relations items, including coaching/advising managers.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, communication, conflict resolution, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to think systematically.
  • Demonstrated project and time management skills, including setting and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated effective delivery on shifting and simultaneous priorities.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment, handle a multitude of tasks, and adapt to change.
  • Discretion around sensitive company and employee information.
  • Demonstrated skill with a variety of software platforms, including all relevant Forrester HRIS systems.
  • Fluency in English; any other European languages are an advantage.
  • Travel to our regional offices may be required.
