About This Role:
The Associate Consultant plays a crucial role in delivering consulting engagements for marketing and strategy clients, which include customer experience, digital business, customer insights, and marketing optimization practice domains. This is a client-facing role, and you can expect to be heavily involved in working directly with Forrester clients on their most challenging initiatives. At the same time, you will be expected to project-manage engagements and help administer the running of the practice. You will be working with a team of highly experienced consultants, and we’re looking for someone that can jump right in.
The ideal candidate has some project management experience and exposure to one or more areas of customer experience, digital or customer insights, and/or business development. We are looking for someone who has personal gravitas above their actual professional experience — you may be new to consulting, but we want you to be able to hold your own in front of clients. You must have a very high level of intellectual curiosity and a strong desire to learn, applying a combination of strong analytic, written, and communication skills. Successful Associate Consultants are also well organized, even under fuzzy circumstances, and ideally have some project management or consulting experience or training. It will be great if you are a Salesforce whizz. We are particularly interested in multilingual candidates who may be business-level fluent in either German, French, Italian, or possibly Spanish.
This is not a great role for you if:
The role is based out of the London office, and you are expected to work in the office on most days when you are not at a client site. Travel could be up to 70% at times and may involve air travel to anywhere within Europe, the Middle East, or Africa.
